The KamiLimu Magazine
I am a co-curator and editor of “WHOLE”, KamiLimu’s first magazine, where I also lead the design of original puzzles and games. The magazine celebrates the journeys of tech students and professionals, sparks play, and invites immersive interaction.
-
Issue 1 of WHOLE Magazine invited readers to slow down and savor creativity through stories, interviews, poetry, and original puzzle-games. It profiled the journeys of nine alumni, spotlighted lessons from “hard things” they have done, and offered spaces of play and reflection. As Lead Curator, Editor, and Designer, I shaped the magazine’s interactive format and created its puzzle-games section. The first issue alone has drawn nearly 61,000 page views, establishing the magazine as a unique platform for holistic narratives in tech education and innovation.

Issue 2 of WHOLE Magazine continues the celebration of creativity and community, deepening its exploration of growth, contribution, and remembrance. This issue features four alumni and two cohort 9 mentees whose stories trace the slow but steady impact of belonging, mentorship, and purpose. It also honors the memory of Timothy Kamau, whose light and story remind us of the tenderness behind excellence. As Lead Curator, Editor, and Designer, I guided the magazine’s narrative arc, visuals, and interactive elements, sustaining its blend of reflection, play, and human connection.
