  • Seville, Spain

    I presented on the pilot Responsible Computing work in Kenya at Mozilla Foundation.

  • Gaborone, Botswana

    We presented on responsible computing integration in innovation tracks and the outcomes of KamiLimu’s structured upskilling model.

  • Hosted by the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), I was selected as the Africa Region winner and 3rd place at the global finale, presenting a talk on “Nurturing Employability Using Structured Mentorship for University-Level Tech Students in Kenya.”

    Impact: Reached a global audience of 1,350+ registrants, showcasing mentorship’s power in transforming student employability and innovation.

  • Delivered a guest lecture titled Beyond the Classroom, weaving personal stories of wordplay, mentorship, and computing into five principles for creating sustainable impact in education and innovation. About 50 people attended as part of Riara’s distinguished public lecture series.

  • Delivered invited lectures on Responsible Computing for Computer Science Education in Kenya and Teaching CS in Kenya for Global Competitiveness. Positioned African perspectives in global computing education conversations.

  • Shared a vision for inclusive tech pathways and mentorship, emphasizing the importance of holding the ladder for others. The talk has since reached thousands online.
